Are you considering reserving a journey on British Airways for your kid, but you're not sure if they can go alone? According to British Airways Minor Policy, unaccompanied minors are entitled to a number of perks, including the opportunity to pre-order kids' meals, pre-boarding, a dedicated team of cabin crew who are trained to look after youngsters travelling alone, etc. But there are several requirements that a kid's parents and guardians must meet in order to enrol the youngster in the unaccompanied programme. For instance, a responsible adult must be present at both the airports of departure and arrival who is at least 18 years old. The youngster must be between the ages of 5 and 15 (16 for domestic flights inside the UK), among other requirements.
